Then she changed

Then she changed by Andi Lutz About the time my daughter turned 5 months old I finally felt like I had a chance to breath, go to the bathroom, and sometimes shower. After 5 months of hard work, sleep deprivation, and more sleep deprivation I felt like I might be getting the hang of this and then she changed. She wouldn’t nap for more than 35 minutes. My brain was turning to mush from doing only three things a day (breastfeeding, changing diapers, trying to get her to sleep) and not really using my brain anymore. I thought, when will this all end? When will I get my old life back? When will I be able to do just one of the things that I used to do?

The Pregnant Lady Look

& Baby Makes 3 The Pregnant Lady Look by Andi Lutz My belly was round and full, I couldn’t hide it anymore. I was self-conscious, and I didn’t like the attention on me. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely loved being pregnant. I’ve never been happier and felt better. But I stuck out and I don’t like to stick out. I just want to blend in with the crowd and not have anyone notice me.

Cloth Diapering, the unconvincing convince

Cloth Diapering, the unconvincing convince by Andi Lutz When I decided I wanted to do cloth diapers I pretty much knew it would never happen because my husband is very stubborn and would never agree to it. Since he has to live in the house with me and the baby then I have to take his wishes in to account also. It was a big fat no, I didn’t even bother to discuss it with him. I know him all too well, he complains almost every day that he has to clean the litterbox now that I’m pregnant. And he checks with me all the time to make sure I am taking that duty over once our little angel is born. On the other hand, we do have 4 big dogs and 3 cats that are all indoor animals so there is always something coming out of one end or the other of these 7, adding another pooper doesn’t change things much. But I guess the poo jobs are all mine, is man just weaker when it comes to that?

To know the gender or not

To know the gender or not by Andi Lutz I wanted to find out the gender of our baby because I just couldn’t wait. I waited a long time to do this and I didn’t want to wait another 9 months to see what kind of parts my little angel will have. I’m old according to the medical profession, 36 and I only have a few good years left to grow a baby. There is a lot of fun in knowing the gender before the baby is born. Seeing all the cute girl clothes, letting everyone enjoy buying those clothes. Imagining what she will look like, will she have our blue eyes, will she have my brown hair or Kurt’s blonde, curly hair. Will she be stubborn like the both of us?

The hardest thing about being pregnant

The hardest thing about being pregnant by Andi Lutz I think the hardest thing about being pregnant for me is constantly worrying about every little thing that’s going on with that life inside me. Is she growing like she’s supposed to? If I eat this will it cause her to have an allergy to it? If I bend over too much am I squashing her? Is the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck? How does the doctor know that the umbilical cord is not wrapped around her neck now?

When to tell everyone you’re growing a baby

When to tell everyone you’re growing a baby by Andi Lutz We decided to tell our family we were finally having a baby about two months in. We couldn't hold it in anymore, we were so filled with excitement. About that time is when the nausea kicked in so I didn't feel too great and all I wanted to do was lay in bed all the time, I was so

That very moment when baby makes 3

That very moment when baby makes 3 by Andi Lutz When I realized I was pregnant I was very surprised, extremely happy, and couldn't stop laughing. That morning I kept getting this voice repeating itself in my head to take a test. I kept telling the voice no, it can't be true. For the past three years I had taken a test any time I had a thought of a baby, wishful thinking overtook everything. But this voice was different, it came out of no where,
