Simple and clutter free
by Andi Lutz
The clutter, it’s everywhere. Every surface is covered with junk that should be thrown away or recycled, organized or donated. But I just want to get rid of it all. I want a simple life with only the things I need. I don’t want to have to dig through a closet of coats that haven’t been worn in decades in order to find the one and only jacket I do wear. The clutter is littering my world and giving me anxiety.
I would live in a tiny house, I would sacrifice most of my things and wouldn’t even see it as a sacrifice. All those things that are piled up behind closed doors, although I can’t see them, I know they are there, and they stress me out. I don’t want them there anymore. I want to be able to open the door and it look like a hotel room, only the essentials, only what I really need. I want to know where everything is and not have to worry about things being destroyed because they are crushed under a pile that was just thrown around to find that one thing I need. I need organization in my life, I need structure, I need simplicity. I need to be happy and to me that means less, a lot less. The bare minimum. Not buildings full of junk, not coming home with stuff that people gave me because they didn’t want it, not being unable to park in the garage because its filled with junk that we don’t use or need or want anymore but for some reason we have to keep it all.
Yes, I would live in a tiny house. In a tiny house you don’t have room to collect more and more and more. Instead you have to get rid of things and make sure that they stay gone. Tiny is better, tiny is stress free, tiny is simple.
